Eurovent Certification Programmes

The European Association Eurovent/Cecomaf, formed in 1995, exists as a platform for HVACR Manufacturers Associations. Eurovent/Cecomaf is currently formed by 15 national associations from 11 countries, representing close to 1000 companies.

Voluntary certification programmes
The importance and reliability of the European Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry is clearly demonstrated by the very existence of the voluntary certification programmes established and administered by Eurovent Certification. Comparison of product performances by third party testing based on well-defined procedures ensures healthy, solid competition within a market, which is open to all manufacturers. For the field of refrigeration, Eurovent has developed certification programmes for DX air coolers, aircooled condensers and dry coolers.

Why Eurovent certification
The purpose of Eurovent Certification Programmes is to create a common set of criteria for rating products. Through specification of certified products, the engineer's tasks are made easier, since there is no need to carry out detailed product comparison and performance testing. Consultants, specifiers and end users can select products with the assurance that the catalogue data are accurate.

How to identify certified products
Specification sheets, literature and advertising display the 'Eurovent Certify All' logo. Products and certified ranges are also listed in the Eurovent directories. The certification logo guarantees that products have been submitted to independent checking and that they have been accurately rated. Eurovent provides updated information on all certified products on their website, including a list of all officially Eurovent certified manufacturers.
